Meet the Staff  

Supervisor
Nikki Prendergast, Diploma of Teaching. E.C.E
Nikki completed her training at Wellington College of Education in 1993. She worked in Hamilton for a year before traveling to Australia where she worked as a supervisor. Nick has spent the last few years traveling in the UK and Europe before moving back to Hamilton in September 2001.

Nikki oversees the programmes in both the Nursery, and the Over Two’s Centre. She leads a team of 11 committed early childhood educators.

Assistant Supervisor - Over Two’s Centre
Donna Allen, Y4 Diploma of Teaching, E.C.E, First Aid Certificate
Donna is currently in her fourth year of training at the Waikato Institute of Technology. Donna has had 14 years working with children, firstly her own three children, then relieving at B4 Five Childcare in 1998 before accepting a permanent position in 1999.

Senior Teacher - Over Two’s Centre
Sheree Pointon, Diploma of Teaching, E.C.E.
Having completed her NZ Childcare Association Early Childhood Certificate in 1994, Sheree went on to further her studies at the University of Waikato, completing her Diploma in Early Childhood Education in 2000.  Sheree has 11 years experience in early childhood along with caring for her own three children.

Supervisor - Nursery
Carol Ridge, Bachelor of Education, E.C.E.
Carol has experience in Nursery care and has spent some time in the United Kingdom working as a nanny.   She has been working in early childhood for a number of years.  Carol oversees the programme planning and smooth running of the Nursery.

Senior Teacher - Nursery
Linda Hardaker, Bachelor of Teaching, E.C.E., First Aid Certificate
Linda studied at Waikato University and completed her degree in 2001.  During her training she also worked as a matron, caring for 125 boys at a high school boarding hostel.  In 2002, she went to England for a year teaching.  She has raised 3 children and has travelled extensively.
